The Montini Sepulchre
Located within the wall of the chapel on the south side, dedicated to the Madonna of the Snow, the tomb of Canon Bartolomeo Montini in polychrome marble is particularly exquisite.

The masonry
The tomb has a mosaic base and a pedestal with a tiles at each end, both depicting woeful angels resting on heraldic shields. On both sides, columns are adorned with elegant, finely-wrought candelabras. Above is an archivolt decorated with delicate arabesques.
The paintings
In the semicircle, Caselli painted a chiaroscuro pietà: a dead Christ supported by two angels.
